The middle of the target is getting worn out doesn't stop the arrow very well anymore. So, my friend and I started shooting at the outter edges to extend the life of the target. The green arrows are his.

I just shot into the upper right corner and then aimed for the arrow. The result was rather humorous.

20yd shot, Bowtech Captain 65#, 28" DL, GoldTip Expedition 5575 w/100gr points.

Notice the nock split perfectly in twain.

I've only got one robinhood before. Probably lucky

Shot one arrow went in dead center of X and the next one shafted it and blew the uni bushing out -- pays to shoot back tension and not trigger slap like I was doing a couple days prior to that

I'm just saying, it ain't funny when I Hood my own arrows. It's 10 bucks.

Now when I hood another persons arrow, that's humorous.

There's nothing wrong with shooting at an arrow. But I hope you've learned a valuable lesson.............. When shooting at an arrow make sure it isn't your arrow!
