I always have a bear tag along on a hunt, otherwise it's shoot, shovel & shut-up.

specially in bear country,our game pole in park falls is at a height of 17 feet,when we hang deer the rear hooves are 6 feet off the ground

After seeing this pic I think that we are going to have to raise our meat pole up a little bit. Never had a problem with bears getting our deer that are hanging but I know that they are in the area. I'm hunting just north of Park Falls in Butternut.
