Thinking about getting a TenPoint crossbow

Help me out here...I've been thinking about getting a crossbow...getting older and I just can't shoot my compound like I used to...I've been considering the Ten Point Turbo M1 w/ Accudraw Pro and a string dampening system...I like the light weight and ease of silently cocking the bow...I would like to spend around $1K....not much more...but I am having second thoughts after reading some reviews about this crossbow failing and also some run arounds with the company warranty...some people say Ten Point company is great, but the thought of the cross bow having failure issues concerns me....the last thing I want is to have a $1000 problem on my hands, especially while I am hunting or in hunting season...I am thinking perhaps the problems some people had with this (or any) cross bow are user error....

can anyone shed some thoughts or light on my concerns?...I would appreciate it very much before diving into this new arena...thank you very much!

I’m on my second Ten Point crossbow and have been very satisfied with the product. As a long time compound shooter I will say that going to a crossbow requires some adjustments. Regardless of what people say you need to practice with a crossbow and develop a shooting sequence. Ten Point has some Black Friday Specials that might help with your budget. I’ve been real pleased with the few times I’ve worked with Ten Point Customer Service and I have friends that feel the same.
