Not sure if these have been posted here or not but here you go...

Pictures from a DNR raid on St. Martin's Island off of the U.P. on Nov.
19th, 2009.

31 Bucks and 9 Does on the pole, nothing smaller than a 7. Approx. 10 deer,
antlers, and heads found around the camp. Also, a smaller mix of bucks and
does...

10 deer without tags, another 10 with wives/girlfriends tags.

Think the fines will be a little high???

So those deer starving having ate themselves out of food would be a better pic?

If these deer were taken LEGALLY then of course I would say WOW! congratulations. The e-mail I got for this pic says they were taken ILLIGALLY hence this post. You can believe everything you get from the internet right?:wink:

Its been beat to death on here. Legally killed by a large group of hunters. Some were fined for not having tags properly affixed, but there is a basis to the story. Read around and you will find the post. I would look myself but I have done it 3 times already to stop the rumor mill.

I have no dog in the fight, just don't like to see the internet rumor mongers going wild with no facts to back themselves up.

I am involved in a somewhat similar hunt each year. Although we kill around 20-30 deer in one day and mostly does. We have management tags and whatever meat we don't keep ourselves gets donated to Hunters for the Hungry. We feed several hungry families with our donations. Maybe this happened here too??
