So are you guy's saying I can't have my bow in the passenger seat with a arrow nocked and my release on the string ,while driving down the back roads on a snowy day, with the heater on high, to dry it out?

Well I received a ticket for in proper cased bow in my truck since it wasn't enclosed. I didn't do research I just was shown the rules and given a ticket when the federal national Huron forest guy called the DNR to check me since I was a smart azz to him.

You should have explained to him.
It's hard to road hunt with a bow, if you see a deer you have to take your release arm and unhook the release from the bow, roll down the window just a few inches because it's cold out there and range the deer, check wind direction after you find out he is 32 yards, verify he is trying to get old acorns covered by snow, then you have to get out close the truck door and get a shot off.
Not near as easy as they think it is with a compound bow on a cold snowy day.
You should have fought that in court with a free lawyer.
These laws are getting out of hand if you ask me.
