maybe I am off base with this, but I drove 20 some miles to an sporting goods shop (they have a decent archery shop) today. I get there and there isn't a soul to be found in the archery area. two months before the season and noone around. odd. I ask one of the girls at the front and they say 'the guy is off today'. hmmm. I finally kidnapped a girl out of the gun section and she helped me. but I am not sure about the two or three other guys there behind me. now, at this time of year, if you owned that place, wouldn't you want the archery area manned all the time? wouldn't it be like opening a restaurant without a bartender and closing the bar because he is off?
