I went on a hunt a few months ago for a Merino Ram, well I was using a 100 grain T-lock. I wasnt as impressed as I thought I was going to be. I had alot of people tell me hey its a great broadhead, penetration was okay, I have had better. My recomendation would be to buy something else, I really lke the G5 Montec, it has worked real well for me in the past.

THis year will be my first year trying them but I talked to the guy down at our sportsman whare house and he said they are unbeleiveble he said he used them for bear and turkey this year and are going to be using them for elk and deer. with his bear he hit it quartering away and it went in behind the sholder and he said it hit the oppisite sholder dead on and said it just crashed right thru the sholder blade and made a pass thru and the blade was not damaged at all.

common scence tells you that there is no vented blade so its going to be quiter flying tru the air and it is going to be stronger because it does not have a cut out in the blade like most others.

Tight Point

I have only shot these into Morrell targets so I cant vouch for how they perform on game. They did fly very well and were quiet in the air as well! There is a guy on here that got back from africa and he used this head to take over 20 animals. He also posted pictures of the entry wounds and exits I believe. Hope this helps.
