X 2 You cant get within 50 ft of a bucks bedding area without spooking him. 100yds would be great.Good idea. It would be nice if it reached more than 50 foot. If it reached 100 yards, it would be great.
i see dale... that would help busting them.Do any of you understand what it actually is doing for you? It places the pictures on a remote device that is NOT connected to the camera. You hide it, if someone walks up and takes your camera(happens way too often) you now have a picture of the thief in a remote device you have hid better than you can hide the camera.
yes but you are still getting your camera stolen with out 100% certainty that the pic will be on there... Thieves get smart as technology does...Actually it is kind of self telling in the thread title LOL. But actually I just heard about this device yesterday from a customer but he couldn't remember which camera offered it-----now I know LOL.
But if someone finds your camera, the receiver is in a position to be found too. It would be nice if the receiver had a longer range to keep it out of the immediate area.Do any of you understand what it actually is doing for you? I have actually seen a note similar to that on a camera that sends pictures to your puter. Not to sound funny or anything, but I would include, along with the equipment, a sign of some sort that could be mounted above the device on the tree that says in effect, "THIS IS NOT A CAMERA; I ALREADY HAVE A PICTURE OF YOUR FACE ON FILE IN A REMOTE LOCATION. IF YOU REMOVE THIS DEVICE, THE POLICE WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE TO GET IT BACK." Sometimes a warning like this is all it takes to make a thief have second thoughts about ripping off your equipment.

That would be even cooler. :thumbs_upI wonder if you can hook multiple cameras into 1 black box.
