i can honestly appreciate the effort... let me ask you a question. Why having an external wireless router is going to stop thieves. I would imagine they would see what they think is a camera and then take it... I dont think they will stop and say " oh wait that is a spypoint the camera is useless with out the router" Am i missing something?

Also i feel that 50ft is not far enough to be out of that big bucks area? please elaborate how 50ft would be no intruding in on his bedding or core area?

X 2 You cant get within 50 ft of a bucks bedding area without spooking him. 100yds would be great.

I really like the concept, that is awesome..........however, 50 ft. is not that big of a difference, I could almost spit that far. Other than the cost, why would this have an advantage over the cameras that email you pics? If it could eventually have the range extended quite a bit further, I would be quite interested!

Do any of you understand what it actually is doing for you? It places the pictures on a remote device that is NOT connected to the camera. You hide it, if someone walks up and takes your camera(happens way too often) you now have a picture of the thief in a remote device you have hid better than you can hide the camera.

If someone knows about this cam.... they most likely would do a search for the second one. Hopefully not... but.....

yes but you are still getting your camera stolen with out 100% certainty that the pic will be on there... Thieves get smart as technology does...

But if someone finds your camera, the receiver is in a position to be found too. It would be nice if the receiver had a longer range to keep it out of the immediate area.

I think if the person stealing the device is a Ethical hunter then they would know what it is.. but I don't think it is US normal Ethical hunters who are stealing trailcameras its the jerks who don't care about other hunters and would never know there is a BLACKBOX. Now even if they did know they still have to find it. You can have fun hiding the blackbox high or low or maybe you don't even put it out and the thief is left wondering if he is in trouble... We had two cameras (Different models) stolen this season and if we had this we would have been better off. The odds are the person stealing the camera would walk in front of it before they realized it was there. - Matt for other questions guys you can email them at [email protected]. IF YOU REMOVE THIS DEVICE, THE POLICE WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE TO GET IT BACK." Sometimes a warning like this is all it takes to make a thief have second thoughts about ripping off your equipment.

I have actually seen a note similar to that on a camera that sends pictures to your puter.
