To D-Loop or not to D-Loop

Hello all,

I have been shooting a target release for some time now and have noticed that many of my fellow shooters who used to use a rope on their release have gone to using a d-loop for target and 3-d. What do you use and why...pros and cons...thoughts???


I used a D-loop for hunting a while back and am not opposed...just wondering.

I used to use a rope on my release but I started to get concerned that it would prematurely wear out my serving (or worse!) Sooo, I switched to a D-Loop. Maybe my concerns were unfounded, but . . . I'm happy with the D-Loop setup.
