I just took Tom's bow building class in MN. I have never built a bow before, but now I feel very comfortable with the process now. I know that I can build my own bow from a stave, and it will turn out great. I can not recommend the class enough! If you like building bows and are unsure about any part of the process, or want to get into bow building, take the class. Do it, you will not regret it for a second.

I love my bow. It is very very smooth. Honestly it is the best longbow that I have ever used. I have a lot of finishing touches that I want to put on it, but I love shooting it even without a grip or arrow rest. Now I just need the weather to behave.

If you are curious to see what you missed, you can watch this video of my 8 students shooting the bows they built themselves!
They came back on Sunday and applied their own personal, custom finishes.

Not a problem though....
I'll be back in Dallas/Plano Feb.20-22, 2015.

If you can't wait that long to build a great bow for yourself, come see me in San Antonio this coming November 7-9. I limit my class size to 8 students and there is only 1 spot left in that class....
