A special archery range...
Swampy, hot, high voltage electric lines over head, and airplane noise, because FK airport is very crose.
I also felt some shooting lines are not drown at the exact distances. Hmmmm....and No toilet....
The range is located next to a garbage disposal incinerator facility,,,so...very stinky......

However Hairband really saved me from hot weather this year!!!
Yesterday was as hot as last year's compeitition..
I made 1279 last year, but this year I made 1330.... Got better than last year...but... score sucks!!!!! even though I have a problem in limbs.

90 : 321/360 = 54 53 51 50 57 56 70m : 328/360 : 55 56 55 54 56 52
50 : 328/360 = 51 56 55 53 58 55 30m : 353/360 : 58 59 59 59 60 58
Total 1330/1440

Under sun light - Too hot 46.7C(116F)

Under a tent - still hot 35.7C(96.3F)

An airpland and a high voltage electric tower

Shooting lines are high by 1meter

Me in front of my car..

Wow!

Interesting photos and comments.

I'm sure land is at a premium in Japan, not like here in New Mexico, USA.

I'm sure you do not have many options there, do you?

I don't imagine there is much space available for the sport of archery, so what other choices do you have.

If you have no other options at this time, you are lucky to have what you've got.

Sorry! I wish I had a better thought for you.

Thanks Brian for your warm encouragement.
As I saw from your public profile, you live in Michigan, I didn't know that Michigan is a hot place.
Anyway...I hope your arrows fly true all the time!!!

In Japan, Archery is not so popular.....and land price is quite high...
There are some archery ranges here. some good, some bad....
It depends on the popularity of the sports....
Recerve archers are decresing here, but Compound archers are incresing.
Hope more CP archers in near future.....and change the air of Japanese archery. Recurve is still treated as the most important part of Japanese archery.....because of the Olympics.

Wow thats insanely hot! wonder what would happen if somone tried to sky-draw and oops the arrow took off. bet the power company would be pissy.
Here we have serious safety rule..."Archers have to draw perpendicurally to their targets"......... If someone tries high-draw or sky draw, he or she will only get yellow card...
