As the title says...I fletched some Victory VAP's with my Bohning Helix Jig. I used 2" Blazer vanes like I always have on my Maxima Shafts. The problem is that the helical is extreme on these micro-diameter shafts. I feel like this is going to cause a lot more drag. Not to mention, when I stack (group) my arrows, I am shooting holes in my fletchings! I want to be able to have a slight offset/helical, but not this severe. Anybody have any recommendations?

The extreme helical is extreme even on standard thickness shafts (like the VForces). It is for helping to stabilize fixed blade broadheads. That's its intended purpose, and it excels at it.

If you are tearing vanes off grouping your arrows...the vanes are performing just like they should. I would say leave it alone...the spin gives an object stability in flight and will only benifit you.
