I have never shot a Elite(no dealers around). I have shot most offerings from Mathews, Bowtech, PSE and couple Hoyts. What are your thoughts of the Z28 compared to the SBXT? I like trying different bows and the XT is the smoothest all round hunting bow I have found. Thanks for everyone's input!

I have never shot a SBXT but I do own an 09 Z-28. I love it! It's very smooth and plenty fast. I say go for it.

SBXT is a great bow, but the Z28 is one of the smoothest bow's made and it would be faster too than the SBXT and the Z's grip is nicer too, if you like a thinner grip

Z28 will be smoother without any headaches. I suppose the original tuning might be just as much work, but not any more.

if you are the original owner of the sbxt, I wouldn't do it, if not then with the way I understand Elites lifetime warranty, I'd say go for it.

I have had both and I miss both, but IMO, the only thing the z had on the xt was speed and 1/2" brace

The 08.5 Z and SBXT are really close in draw. The 09 Z blows it away.

To say one bow will out shoot another bow is bull ****e, no matter what 2 bows are being compared.
