I am about to buy my first recurve bow and know nothing about them. Can anyone tell some of the better brands and maybe some of the brands to stay away from? Thanks.

i am in the same bout kind of

I am intrested in the sport aspect. i may want to compete. I just wanted to know what is nessaray to start. I not sure what all the short hand mean. So please be patient. i am a fast learner. I am Voluisa county Fl. If there is ashop i should just go to that would be cool. I just want to shoot a traditonal bow for competetion. At the most. Try to learn some focus in my life.
