i have had a wild view trail cam on a corn pile for a couple of weeks. have had the cam scince the begining of summer. went out to change sd cards on it today, saw that all of the corn was gone( it was a big plie about 40 lbs) and figured that i would have alot of pics but only had 3 and they were of me last week heading to my stand. does anyone know what is wrong with the camera or if it is fixable. and yes it is facing the right direction

You more than likely had the camera pointed too high to get pictures of the raccoons that robbed your bait pile. They can wipe out a 40# site in just a few nights believe it or not.

the camera is pointed down though, the whole pile is in frame. should i pull it and leave it at home for a while to air out or something

Could be a problem with the unit itself. Try contacting the manufacturer about it. They may have some pointers.

What type of SD card is in it? I've had some real problems with the cheap no name SD cards.
