Every 3 weeks. I can go almost 4 months on 1 set of batteries in my 05 Cuddeback 3.0. I just wear scent-proof clothes and spray down with scent killer, go in to the site and change out the CF card. The last 3 week period, I had 296 pictures!! It is set to take a pic every 10 minutes.

I usually check mine once a week. I have them on trails by my stand sites so I also take the opportunity to spray a little DEET on a couple trees near the stands when I'm out checking the cams in late summer. That first week or two of the season I'll have plenty of bug dope on, so my theory is to get them used to catching a whiff of it. It might not help, but at least it hasn't seemed to hurt.

Depends on where they are. The ones where I do most of my hunting, about three weeks. The ones on the plots, whenever I want to see new pics. I just set a couple more on some new property I was given permission to hunt last weekend. I plan on leaving them out for a month. Scouted and picked some decent spots....... I hope. The anticipation is agonizing.

I try to wait 2-3 weeks between checks - it's really difficult to do sometimes because the anticipation is almost as bad as the hunt itself.
If it wasn't a 2+ hour round trip, I'd be out there every 5 or 6 days...

It obviously depends on exactly where I have the cam set. That being said, I generally have them set up fairly close to the foodplots and fields providing very easy access and minimal disturbance of the area, when this is the case I check them every week. If the cams are a little deeper in the timber and brush then I may wait an additional week or two. I never set up any of my trail cams close to my stand set-ups.
