i went and retreived my card from my Wildview trail cam this afternoon and 8 out of the 11 pics were complete whiteouts, not caused by the sun type whiteouts but complete blanks??

anyone ever have this, is it the card or is the camera screwing up??the time and date still recorded on each frame and it was nite and day that this happened. this is a IR type 5 mega pix cam???

My first camera did this. It was a scout guard. Every time I set it to take 3 consecutive shots the first shot would be fine but the following two were completely whited out. I called the place I bought it from and did some troubleshooting over the phone and they exchanged it for me. I swapped it out for the bushnell trophy cam and haven't had any problems yet.

Is your cam in a thick area? If so the flash can go off during the day.
I would try it in your yard to see how it works and if the problem continues then I would take it back or call Wildview. Pike
