anyone ever put cams out for turkey this time of year? i know where some are coming thought at but dont know what time. i put my i40 out yesterday so i can see when i need to be in there. anybody else do this?

It is a great idea to do that. I have one out right now and will probably put one or two out this weekend to check the turkeys in some of my hunting spots. Season starts next Tuesday. Good luck to everyone this turkey season.

my brother-in-law and I were thinking about doing the same thing...do you put any sort of feed out to attract the turks to the camera? Or do you just put them where you think the turks will be?

I do both!

In general I find a roost area and then pattern the turkeys to know when and where they will be coming through on their way to roost for the night. I then put out a pile of corn and/or a compressed feed block and then set the camera up. I only have a 35mm trail cam so with only 24 pics it usually only takes 2 or 3 days to get a camera full!
