anyone here an experienced "Tree Saddle" user? in N.C. we hunt some gnarly thickets and cover is really thick early. just thinking that the saddle may give me another option on trees that are in the right place but not necessarily "stand friendly".

i am 6"1 and 240.....is it realistic to think the saddle is made for a bigger guy to use? i would love to hear pros and cons......in the research stage now.

thanks for any help offered.

Yes it definitely will work for you. They are rated for 350 or higher can't remember exact number.

Here is a very good thread to look at for research. It solidified my decision on getting one and it was the best hunting gear decision I have made in a long long time.

love it

I'm in NC, too. I haven't used any other stand for the last 3 years, since I got comfortable with the saddle.
I'm 6'3", 240# and I feel safer in my saddle than I ever did in lock-ons, climbers or ladder stands.
