I am not sure what others issues are with the lone wolf ez hook. I have had my Alpha since 2010 and only used the offset bracket in one tree since then. That was a tree that had some gnarly bark and knots where I wanted to hang the stand. I have never had a single issue with the ez hook strap. I climb to the desired height with my stand on my back (gameplan gear TTS) and the ez hook strap in my hand or one of my front pockets. I place the strap around the tree, set the stand on it and secure the top strap of the stand on the versa button and I am done. It couldn't be any easier. I have never had the stand move on me and it is rock solid every time.

I also have a M50 Millennium and while the bracket is not difficult, the Lone Wolf is so much easier.
