Timbertall makes the lightest one, I think. It even has a rail. Most people swear by Lone Wolf. If your not stuck on a climber, consider a Treesaddle or a blind. I might lean towards a blind, myself.

Given the fact she needs/wants something light and she has never hunted from a treestand before, I would suggest a Summit Viper. They are very secure and light. I think they feel more secure than others of the same weight.

The Lone Wolf Alpha Hand Climber is very light and secure, easy to use, and quiet. Might want to go with a LW Sit and Climb though if she's not used to the tree stand. A bigger surround seat like that will feel safer.

I have the timbertall,it's like 12lbs. If she's a small girl it would be perfect. I like it if I have to hike like a mile,but not quite roomy enough for me. I prefer my summit.

Lone Wolf sit & Climb. Light weight, comfortable and very quiet. All the other climbers out there are noisey compared to the Lone Wolf. Also, the belts on the Lone Wolf actually grab the tree unlike the other climbers....a LW can climb a telephone pole...the others cant.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with an Ol man treestand. I have a gorilla greyback which is a knock off Ol man. Mine is 19 lbs i think, with the mesh seat. I love it

There are some stands that are better in one area or another...but for the price...versatility and safety features you will be hard pressed to find a better stand than a Summit Viper.

I just checked their website and didnt see one listed so I guess they dont make them anymore, but my wife is 5ft 4in and weighs around 110 pounds and she hunts out of the LiL Ole Man, she loves it and as always Ole Man's net seating cant be beat for comfort.
