Anybody who has a Dick's in their area should look at the Comfort Zone Sentinel hang-on stands. Nicely built and on sale for $29.88. They also have 16' climbing sticks for $29.88.

How can you beat that for some extra stands? :)

dicks

ive used they sticks but not the stands. for that price i can be uncomfortable for 2-3 hrs. if you have 20-30 stand sites already in place the sticks and hang on stands would be the ticket. not a great loss if they get stolen.

Don't care how they attach to the tree lol. For that price, I can grab 2 just for "evening" sits and save the better stands for the rut huntin'.

Thanks for the heads up

I have one of their climbers that I like pretty well. It's kinda heavy but it sets up pretty easy and is pretty comfortable too. I have been wanting a hang on stand that I can get pretty cheap as I hunt in a public area and have thought about leaving them up in a few strategic places that I dont think to many people would venture into but then again... you never know. LOL... Even if I decide to go with a different stand I am going to go check out the climbing sticks when I can.

Thanks for the heads up! Just went on my lunch and pick up 2!

Wonder what the wife will say when she notices Dicks on "our" checking account... but "honey" for that price you can't pass it up! Right? :embara:

That is what she would say if it were a shoe sale.

For us Illinois guys there is a $10.00 off $50.00 at Dicks in the new DNR hunting regs booklet. I'm going for a couple of the $69.00 ladder stands. WDO

Are the sticks the style of lone wolf sticks or are they the ones you stack on eachother and then become one?

Thanks!
The sticks I got from Dicks last year are the stack on top of each other kind. They are heavy and noisey, this year I am using the Lone Wolf sticks.

No pictures but I guarantee you will not be disappointed for $29.88.

If Deerman1 spent $280 on these products, they have to be at least decent.

I am not a rep but I thought it was a nice stand especially for the price.

I've got three of them, used them last year, they are great for secondary stand sites, you know, the nanny-whackin spot, where the same does come by the same spot nearly every day, and you will be in the stand for 2 or 3 hours max. I WOULD NOT want to spend the entire day in one of these. Thats what my King Kong loungers are for.
