i got a new spring steel and i have heard that trophy taker reccomends that you tune it with slight nock high tear has anyone else done this and what kind of results are you getting or what is the best way to tune for this rest
I have the trophey taker spring still and i found out this i does tune best being just nock high. this helps with vane get clearance and also doesnt plow through the rest. Causing the back of the arrow to rare up.
set it up today 1/16 nock high and down the middle of the trough walk back tuned at 15 25 35 and 45 and it was perfect the first time around i took a peice of duct tape spilit it down the middle and taped it to my bag target took 12 arrows shot 3 at each distance and had 10 out the 12 arrows in the duct tape and the ather 2 were very close so i am calling it tuned as good as i am going to get it
thanks for everyones help
