I have a Hoyt Trykon XL and I want to put a full containment drop-away on it. I am very interested in the Trophy Taker x-treme FC-top slot. The proshop I use really push the Ripcord and I have also heard good things about it. I will probably shoot Blazers, Flash or NAP speed hunters ST's vanes. I would like to hear any input about these two drop-aways good or bad.

I know its not the same rest but I have a TT shakey hunter that would not get out of the way for my arrows. Maybe it was the wide launcher. I switched to a ripcord and it is a very nice rest. I should'nt disapoint. Great thing about the ripcord is you can cock it-I use the crap out of that feature--

No experience with the TT extreme

the Ripcord definetely out of those 2. You should also consider the QAD ultra rest it is very similar to the Ripcord except it has a few more features and is a littler nicer in my opinion.

goodluck

I would not hesitate to go with the Ripcord. I don't think I would ever change.

Trophy Taker

Dont want plastic parts. Go with the Trophy Taker.

Do a search on any poll here and see if TT isnt the top fall away rest.

Never had any promblems with TT for many years now. Have recommended them to many here.

Currently shoot the Pronghorn on my hunting bow.
