Trouble seeing yardage indicator on slider - CBE Tek Pro.

The yardage indicator arrow on my out of production CBE Tek Pro. is difficult for my old eyes to clearly see against the black "tape". I was thinking of painting it with a contrasting color like florescent yellow, blaze orange or luminescent green.

Any body else deal with this issue? Any suggestions?

i flip my binoculars upside down to get a good view of tapes
put Eye piece close to tape and look though big end works great for me

I have painted the indicator pin silver to see better. I have also made my own out of small finishing nails by bending it with two needle nose pliers and cutting off the head.

It works great for 3d. On a hunting bow just mark with a bright marker 10 yard increments with a dot at 5 yard increments close enough to hunt

I would suggest just making your own sight tapes with white waterproof labels from the store and get some clear laminate to cover your little tick marks. I use a pentel .5 pencil and piece of fine sand paper to sharpen the pencil lead at a angle and this shows up very very good. I shoot in my 20 30 40 50 60 yard marks and then I make 2yd marks between and this is so much better than 1yd marks.

Cut out your white label to the perfect size and then drop it face down on the clear laminate and then trim it and you have a perfect waterproof label that you can see.

Nice creative ideas. I contacted CBE to confirm that I can purchase a new replacement indicator arrow in case I booger it up. I think I'll begin by paining it with a bright or luminescent nail polish first and then if that doesn't work, will tinker with some of these other ideas.
