Had one years ago and it worked great. I bought a new truck and the straps weren't long enough to go around the seat.
I'm sure they have addressed that issue and I'd like to have another. I can't remember the company name that built them so hopefully someone will post up.

I'd never do that! Bows are way to expensive and 1 accident it has the potential to be garbage. In the hard case it goes!

I carry mine with one all the time. Have been for 10+ years without issue. I even strap my spot bow in when going to local indoor shoots.

Not enough to think about. The strap is loose and just holds the bow upright.

 

Longer flexible gear tie. Looped around the head rest posts.
Twist up and make an upward hook in the back. Holds the bow well while traveling. Keeps it upright and sometimes suspended depending on the ATA.
Cheap and way to take on and off.

Bungee Cord from headrest to riser works. At least on a 36 Ata bow.

 

 

I used the Bowspider for the first time this fall on a mulie hunt. Best thing ever. Allowed me to avoid taking off stabs and limb legs to put the bow in the case 4-5 times per day.

 

Made my own a long time ago, heavy paracord and rubberized block of wood. Run it through the riser and bwtn the limbs, rubber coating protects the limb finish. Hangs about 6" above the floor mat, slight optical illusion in the picture.
