I was wondering if any of you out there have used this true timber camo and how the durability is on it. Is it worth a try or not? Any info would help.

I got a set of it last year for a western ND hunt. I ended up buying (got a great deal) a 1/4 zip, dynamic pants, absolute vest and jacket, as well as the permafrost jacket and pants. Everything I got was in the MC2 pattern.

I wore a combination of that gear for 5 days in western ND in early December. There was a foot of snow on the ground, lows temps around 0, highs in the mid teens, snowed a couple of the days.

I have also wore this camo thus far this season in northern WI. I would like to get a couple pieces of a different patter for "woods" hunting, but for now, what I have works, especially in the evergreens.

So far I have been very happy with the gear. It layers very well, good pockets, zippers, drawstrings ..... The dynamic pants and ascent jacket are pretty quiet, but not quite as quiet as fleece of course. They shed water, but are not waterproof. With one or two layers under, they are good (for sitting) until the temps drop into the mid 20's, and probably good into the teens if you are active. Below those temps, I pull out he permafrost jacket and pants. they are a bit noisier, but are waterproof, so it's a tradeoff. I wore these when I was glassing on my ND hunt. I sat in the snow, on high ground, looking into the wind. I never felt like the wind was cutting through, never got a wet butt. Also, my permafrost jacket has a built in hand muff with was VERY nice.

Again, overall I was impressed. The MC2 camo pattern looked great in western ND, and it does alright in WI, but I feel they make a better patter, I just haven't gotten any of it yet.

What type of camo you use depends on what type of hunting you do. I think the TrueTimber stuff is great all around gear. Like I said I've used it for a variety of hunting situations.

I have used the camo in many hunting situations for several years now. Matter of fact I just got back in from the their home office which is just a few miles away from my shop. I recommend giving it a try, great product and great folks.
