LeEarl's tuning DVD is a nice start. There is a thread on it in this very forum. You will be amazed at what you can learn from this website.
Tuning Book
New to archery and I am a do it yourselfer. A few guys I know say that the local archery shop isn't very good. I asked a few of my buddies that bow hunt if they tune their bow's and they all look at me like I was speaking a foriegn language. So I found this site and have been reading for a few days and have come to the conclusion that their is a lot about archery that a lot of people are oblivious to and I don't want to be one of them.
So I am looking for a good book or DVD to give a new guy some insight on taking care of my equipment.
When I got my bow, of coarse I got arrows, broadheads, etc. and after reading a little on this site I don't know if the arrows I got are right for the poundage I am shooting, and all the other stuff I don't quite understand on this site YET.
Any help would be GREATLY appriciated.
