Well got my first opportunity at a turkey with my bow and I shot about 3-4" short. Miss judged the yardage and it really stung me.

I had a short opportunity at 29 yards when he first came in, however I really thought he would come right to me,

here is the video

I didn't go out today, so I lied on the video LOL

Woke up at 4 am and decided to help out my wife and take the kids to school as I am probably going to be gone the next three days hunting.

And I need to get some stuff done around here.

can't get much accomplished when your out the door at 4 am, back in around noon, nap for 2 hours, pick kids up from school and then run them around

Enjoyed the video

Thats hunting. Taking a turkey with a bow is not easy at all. Cant say how many times a turkey has hung up just out of range.

Thanks for sharing the hunt.

Thanks, I know its a challenge, but I'm still going to try

It was at 29 yards at one point, but it was still coming in I thought

I thought let it come as close as it could, but it seemed like it didn't want to come up the hill to the decoys, which were clearly seen from his spot

Any experts know if Toms don't walk uphill to a decoy?
