You can if you have a press, put the cord through your press and melt the end after you release and had have tension back on the string you can serve above the cord so it won't pull up. Another option would be to tie it on your down cable using the same knot you would tie in your loop. Then again serve above.
You can use B-50 or BCY- 62braid. If you do a search on here you'll find a couple of different ways, find the one you like and give it a try.
That's what I use.. from Charm herself.. works great for tying in drop cords, peeps, serving around a string suppressor contact point, etc.. :thumb:
