I have a buddy that has two VXRs. One of each length. He has a Bee Real on both of them and loves them. I'm not a fan. I just can't get comfortable with it.

All I can say is to try one. Maybe find a used one?

 

I have one on each of my two VXRs (28&31.5) and absolutely love them. The first generation were pretty lame because they look like they were made in a 3-D printer and you would actually have to file them down a little bit to get them to fit the integrated rest. The ones that have been made in the past several months are perfect. They fit like a glove and help with torque, at least for me. Where I primarily hunt taking far shots is something that should be expected. (Axis deer in Hawaii) these groups definitely help me hold on target better. Because they are also what some would consider a “high grip“ type, they will actually change your drawl link feel slightly. I actually like it because I shoot Mathews bows and I am a true 28 inch draw, (and Mathews drawling always runs a little bit long) so this makes it feel closer to my actual drawl length.

That’s great info, I was thinking about maybe buying used but probably best to buy new. I may just try to find one to try out first though

 

I have one on my traverse and its night and day compared to stock grip. Much more consistent and left right misses are gone.

 

Very comfortable in the hand. I was shooting off the rider and this spreads out the pressure on the thumb. Happy with the purchase. It is a higher quality plastic as compared to most of the Ultraview 3D printed stuff. I wouldn’t use that stuff for a grip.

 

I had the Ultraview for a Hoyt. I loved the feel of the grip but I shoot better with the stock Hoyt grip. The one I had looked 3D printed to me and it was extremely fragile. I broke it in half taking it off my bow.

 

Yeah I could see that, that’s probably why they recommend not using any glue or adhesive at all when installing the grip. The one I am looking at is a new grip that has never been used before, so for 40 bucks it’s probably worth it I suppose and if someday I break it taking it off my bow well it’s just 40 bucks at that point I waste more than that on a few beers with the crew on the weekend👍👍

 

Haven't had a new one but the old ones and other ultraview grips are cheap 3D printed plastic grips. I broke one just removing it from the bow - very fragile.

And they are WAY overpriced! The quality of the new Bee Real grips looks better - still overpriced IMO. You may or may not like the feel of them. They tend to have a thicker feel to them so if you like beefy thick-backed grips you may like it. If not, you won't. For whatever reason I liked the feel of an Ultraview on the Halon-X I had but didn't like the feel on the VXR.

 

I love mine. The bow doesn’t roll so easily left to right so. Yes the torque seams to be way less. And the pressure point on the thumb knuckle is gone.

 

Had the Uv grip for my vxr and sold it right away. Reason was it shortened my DL a good amount after shooting off the riser i would say about a 1/4 inch. I would have had to of ordered new mods and tune again. After I got rid of the nock low tear which was a nightmare I didn’t want to mess with it.

Loving the one on my rx4 ultra. Makes the grip nice and narrow and also angled back a bit which fits my grip perfectly.

I see adding a 1/2” to draw as a positive, that’s 3-4fps for free. My vxr shot bullet holes out of the box, I only added a 1/2 twist to cable after 200 shots to get it back on time. Been solid ever since. 👍

 

Is this what your looking for? I bought a trx 36 and it came with the bow I was going to post it for sale

 

I bought one and did not like it. I’m sending it back. I went with side plates instead.

It’s thick which has not been mentioned.

 

Are they worth the price?

 

I just received mine yesterday, even though it is the original style, I like it a lot! Wider grip isn’t an issue at all if your hands are average size or larger

 

YES i think so. I know on my Traverse it made a huge difference
