Anyone shooting the new ultraview button release? Really liking what I’ve seen from it. But why is their stuff so damn expensive? I don’t think it’s even USA made now i know neither is my Hoyt but with so many really nice releases on the market at around $220-250 what’s the reason for the $350 pricetag on the black stainless? You would think they’d want to be more competitive with the current options on the market. Anyone have one? How are you liking it? Is it worth it or no?

Its a fantastic release, here is my comparison review between it and the Stan Perfex.

It is a great release but it is not really any better than anything else except for the add on hunting bracket. I do like that. Most people buying one are just buying the name. I'd suggest finding someone else that has one or a shop that sells them and give them a try.

Only you can truly answer your question.

I love it and have tried several releases. It is like anything else..... you get what you pay for, but in turn, if it does not work perfectly, you have the right to go back to the manufacturer and ask for the help you need to make it perfect. At the end of the day, I worked with my archery store who let me shoot several types of releases and I landed where I did. Regardless, the price is the price, but the results have to be what you expect or move on. You are probably too seasoned a shooter to be crippled by poor equipment performance.

It is a great release. I would agree with Poet though... It isn't leaps and bounds better than other releases on the market... I would say where the button shines is if you are a UV Hinge shooter! Having the ability to swap between my UV H2 and a button without any impact changes, anchor changes etc... IS A HUGE GAMECHANGER! Now there are other options on the market that allow for this, so my suggestion would be to try some and see what you like best... For me, the Hinge 2 and the UV Button are here to stay

I tried it out, on both my Target and Hunting bow, but at the end of the day no reason to switch from my Stans or Carters. Especially for the price, you are not gaining anything groundbreaking over the established brands. Surely you will see some at a more reasonable price in the Classifieds or UV refurbished page, then they may be worth it.
