Just climbed into stand and looked behind me 10 yards, and found this recently dead buck. My guess is either got hit by a vehicle or another bowhunter on adjoining property property.

Wait till you boil it. Then the sublime notes of mahogany comes out.

Breath through your mouth. One whif of a whaf and its puke time. The word rank doesn't do it justice.

I would call the fish & game people to check it. First, to be sure you can take possession legally. Second, to rule out any disease. Err on the side of caution. BTW, nice looking rack. I should be lucky and get one this week.

Is there a reason to call DNR on a dead deer find? Here in Delaware I called to report a possible poached deer and was blown off. Not trying to argue, just wasn’t sure if other states were different
