The day started of with me killing my frist Bear ever at 10yds. Latter in the afternoon my hunting partner calls and tells me he has just shot a large bear. 325lbs Boar shot at 15yds! Talk about a task to pack out. My back is killing me.

Not to mention the 2 P&Y bucks my wife and I were chasing around most of the afternoon. My best opening day ever! :teeth:

BenchLeg sounds like a great time, we still don't have enough bear for them to open season but maybe someday they will.

Great job Congratulations on the harvests! I've heard that bear was real good to eat if you take special care to get the tallow and sinew stripped away from the meat. What says ya? Is it Good?
