Mach 30 DS owners, what are some of your updated thoughts on the bow? I’m undecided between it and the Lift 29.5. I’ve shot both bows on multiple separate occasions but have yet to find a store within a couple hour drive to have both in stock so I can shoot them back to back. I’m torn because I love them both (but definitely not buying both lol). I’ve read most of the initial reviews of the bow (reviews by RickElite88, sambone, Ravinhood, KenW) and the most recent long term review by LoneAggie. I guess I’m interested to hear some other long term reviews from you guys who have had the bow for several weeks now. Do you still love it? If you’ve had the chance to stretch it out, have you been happy with the way it shoots mid to long ranges? Any problems with initial tuning or it holding a tune? Anything break or crack on it yet? Any updated chrono speeds with hunting weight arrows? Thanks for any and all input!

I am still loving mine.
Ive only shot out to 57 yards and Its a very accurate bow.
I have not run any arrows through a chrono, but it's a quick bow judging by pin gaps on my sight.

It's going to be a GREAT bunting bow. The speed vs draw cycle with the EC2 cam is a no brainer in my book. And the overall light weight of this bow for mountain hunting and the ease with which it will fit strapped to a pack is all bonus for me.

I shot the LIFT 29.5 at the same time I shot the Mach 30. I shot each 3-4 shots and decision was made. Very easy one for me.
No knock on the LIFT. I just liked the Carbon M30 more

Here’s a group at 80 yards from today with some testing arrows for TAC.
This thing flat out shoots.
It has such a different hold at full draw than the kairos did for me. It matches up with my shooting style very well.
I still have to run it through the chrono but once I do I’ll post numbers.
Hopefully more sunny days ahead so I can work on tightening this group up. There is one broken nock in the group at least.

I’m hearing the same thing about the M30 in regards to how it holds and shoots at distance from others who have the bow. Curious to what you get for speeds as well.

On the fence with this bow and the levitate. Those who shot or have both can you give a comparison please

Sorry just saw this thread. I bought the levitate when it first came out and love it. Spent some time with the Mach 30 shooting it back to back against the levitate and just couldn't make the jump over. I know the Mach 30 didnt have everything on it but to me my Levitate just shot a little better. Also not a hit against the 30 but I know if I get the 30 I won't touch the levitate. Similar to me Not touching my hoyt ventum 30 since buying the Levitate. I was going to buy the Mach 30 and go all out in accessories to include a garmin A1i, but think I might just get the garmin and put it on the Levitate. It was just to hard to walk away from a bow that just works for me.

I really appreciate all the replies everyone. Your feedback is extremely helpful! How was the tuning process for the Mach 30? Easy for the most part? One of the techs at a pro shop I visit pretty often heard “it was a nightmare to tune the new Mach 30.” (This shop mainly sells Mathews bows by the way) I almost started laughing when I heard him say that…just because I feel like I’ve heard the opposite regarding the Lift vs the Mach 30. Not that the Lift has been a tuning “nightmare”, just a little more time consuming and sensitive to tophat switches than previous Mathews bows. I don’t own a press or do my own bow work but I would think the EZ 220 system that PSE uses would be fairly easy to tune?

I shot a scoring round today with the Mach 30 on a Vegas Face..
288 was my score. (My average score on a Vegas face is about 290).. So Im right there with a 30" bow. Not bad.

I am confident that I can score about 5 points higher. This was only my second scoring round this season and my first with the 30.. The cool thing is I didnt hit a single 8. All 10s and 9s.
Love this bow

Limited shots since I just received it, however…

I just finished up sending about 30 arrows at 25 yards under the sidelights outside. It just doesn’t make sense to shoot as well as it does. I think I’ve watched every internet video that exists that discusses this bow, and they verify how I felt the first time I shot it in a shop. Truly living up to the hype. I was dead set on buying a Core SR, and I think that is an incredible bow too in its own right. But… I shot one of these. Immediately knew I had a financial decision to make

Now, we get to see how it holds up. FWIW I did immediately swap to new 454 strings and cables. Never been this excited about a bow.

How long did it take to get your bow after you ordered it?

Im working on getting the FL LL mods for the EC2 cams to go along with my HL and LL mods. Then i want to do a review of speeds on all three and compare to someone with the E2 cams.
