I'm sure you Bowtech experts can give me an your thoughts on a what bowtech bow to purchase, no older than 6 years old. I'm a 29" draw, not looking for anything super fast like the RPM 360. If I decide to actually pull the trigger i'd like something IBO 335-345. ATA no longer than 33"

Thanks

Best bang for your buck is a used experience. 29” is still good on the draw and they are around $400. Used Bowtech realm is also a good choice and I’ve seen them around $600. Don’t pay more though, it’s a buyers market.

At your draw length I would also look at a Reign 7, people are basically giving them away right now. I like the grips on the realm series a lot better.

If you can find a realm x you can't go wrong.

Also the RPM is not a bad bow at all. Don't shy away from it if the price is right. Will be cheaper than an X. In house limbs are a plus but i've owned three and never an issue. I know you have no idea what was shot before you, but if you run heavier arrows and aren't concerned with "speed" then its one heck of bow.

RPM is rolling the dice, its also why i didnt list the BTX, which i loved. I know guys say to get new in house limbs, but why spend $200 extra....if you want to do that just spend $200 extra and get a current model year bow.

Another used BT model to consider is the Prodigy, it was the 2015-16 Flagship model . 32" ATA , 7" brace ht., 345 IBO speed and it has the 3 mode flip disk, comfort , classic and performance settings Great hunting bow specs. Price is on par with a used Experience in the $400 - $500 range. Next step up is a used Reign 6 or 7 with prices in the $500- $600.

^^^ This ^^^

I love my Prodigy! Takes a ton of abuse and hits the mark every time! Holds great, tunes great, shoots straight and is plenty fast. Kind of hard to find a used one cause nobody ever wants to get rid of them!

Cpxl, realm x, and don't over look the rpm 360 at 29" if you like, shorter ata bows it draw very nice (even tho mine doesn't make ibo its short by 5-7 fps)

Invasion is still to this day the best hunting bow they ever made. I had 7 different ones. If I would sell the triaxs I would have no problem killing with the invasions again.

Reign 6, can't help to people always forget that.
Excellent bow and seems that it's in "give away"- basket same as Reign 7

I did sell mine 'cause of that grip and that one buyer almost forced me to sell it after he tested it.
I'd had Shrewd grip in my X Comp and wanted something like that for my hunting bow.
I could make it with Sugru but I decided to sell it and wait what year 2019 brings.
There's still 3 months before hunting season starts here so no rush...

I’d look for anything in the Realm series. I never had a chance to try the reigns but have heard they are awesome, might try to find a lefty one as a backup to my Realm.

I liked the carbon icon when I shot it. But I liked the tune-ability of the dual yokes and the hold on target of the Realm much more. For a backup hunting bow, I don’t think the icon would be a bad choice.

Lol....you'll get all the models mentioned.

Ive owned most ODB. Take your pick!! All good. As a hunt bow I prefer a 32" +/- as well. Wife and I both shoot revamped destroyers. But as a 32"ish hunt bow, invasion is a great one. Experience too. Prodigy, yep. Reign...yep....lol.

Take your pick. But I always have a sweet spot for the destroyers and invasions...

^^^^^^yup there all nice. I got the reign 6 as my first brand new flagship bow and I love and shoot it great. Then I got bit with the bow bug. Bought a blown destroyer 340 and put barnsdale limbs on it, great bow and really wish I would have never sold, it but sold it to fund a realm wasn't crazy about it so sold that to try a realm x. Now I know I'm in the minority but liked my reign better. So sold that and bought a used prodigy and it's tough for to say if I like that or the reign better. I still keep my eye out for a destroyer because I think that would be quite the trio. Haven't shot an experience but who knows from all I hear might buy one of them on a whim.

Not in the minority at all. Most die hard ODB shooters recognize it too...those center pivots from 2011-2018 are as smooth and quiet, vibe free as any bow on the market. The new stuff has noticably more reverb and feedback in comparison. I dont shoot a reign, but recognize it as being the top of the CP era! It's a good one.

I love my BTX31 and Destroyer 350 which I picked up used. The BTX does have the Bowtech molded limbs. The destroyer is an LE model. Both are great shooting bows, smooth draws and accurate.

I have a experience, love it, its my deer and bear hunting bow 60lbs I also have a 70lb realmx great bow, its my elk and moose bow, its made a creaking noise since new, I replaced the plastic insert between the riser and the flex gaurd, still creaking, got some new rollers coming, hopefully, if it still creaking it could be a cam. Funny thing is I got rid of my rpm360 to get a more reliable bow, never had a issue with the 360. I would say a experience is the best bang for your buck
