You’ll definitely lose some, but you may be surprised since there isn’t a newer bow. If it’s a 2020 model, I would say $100-$200 less on average, but you may be pleasantly surprised.

Personal reasons brutha! Just bought it off a local bow shop a few weeks ago! It’s prolly one of the smoothest drawing bows I’ve ever shot the evo 33 was nice too tho

 

Is there a section on archery talk for selling bows or is Facebook archery sale/trade a better option

It’s a good time to list with hunting seasons just starting. Very popular bow and easily adjustable for a wide range of buyers. I think if you price it 150$ under purchase price it will sell quick.

Just know right when you post it for sale some members on here will make you low ball offers. Laugh them off and wait, it will sell for much more.

 

First off, it sounds as if you're a new member, so WELCOME!!! Yes,there is a classified section on here to buy,sell & trade bows,bow accessories, binoculars, rangefinders,etc,etc....along with it are some other great sections where a person can get some really good advice...(and some bad too,so watch out) anyways, bows are normally shipped in bow boxes you can get from your local archery or sporting goods store that bows were received from the factory in. The way alot of folks buy & sell go thru PayPal using the GOODS & SERVICES OPTION. I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF USING THIS OPTION AND NOT THE FRIENDS & FAMILY OPTION. The goods & services option charges the seller 3% of the purchase price & .50/transaction ,but both parties are protected should something go sideways-such as you mentioned-getting ripped off by someone sending something other than the item described or the item, but in a worse condition than described, or not sending anything at all. The friends & family options doesn't charge a fee but, if anything is different other than what was supposed to be shipped or it was different than described, etc....well...you're up a creek without a paddle OR boat! Most folks on here are trustworthy but it's better to heir on the side of caution. Far as price goes, like someone mentioned to you earlier some will try to low ball you but stick to what YOU think is fair and you will be ok. Hopes this helps,and good luck with your sell!

I haven’t registered it with Mathews yet could they use the warranty?

 

Usually not, if your bow shop didn't register it(which they probably did) it will just go un-registered.

 

I registered mine when I bought it. It may not be an issue.

 

I can tell you right now I wouldn't buy from this guy.

Buys a brand new bow a few weeks ago, pays MSRP. That's a red flag right there.

Says the bow isn't registered, red flag. Mathews dealers don't let a bow leave the shop without the bow registered.

Could be true. See, I was kinda thinking “is this a way of advertising a bow for sale without waiting for membership to go through to post on the classifieds”. I could be completely wrong.

 

This is just a classifieds ad on the main page. People have started doing this knowing they’ll get offers via pm. The mods allow it so it will continue to happen.
PostalRandy did this a few weeks ago to buy a used Elite then lied about it.

These are 999 new in my area. I think you need to be 200 under new being it will not have warranty.

I’ll just add that I purchased a new Vertix couple weeks ago and it was up to me to register warranty as well. I’ll never buy a Hoyt or Mathews on here and intend to register or use the warranty. Not how it works nor was it intended to. God I hope they get the feedback fixed. It’s an absolute sh*t show in the classifieds.

 

I have seen people here sell a bow more than the price of a new one , don't understand why a person buy a used bow when they can get a new bow for the price.

 

Right I’ve seen that happen as well that’s why I asked what a fair price would be not trying to screw anybody or myself but I plan on keeping it for bow at least through the season!
