This solution is probably not as effective as permithins but I bet if you juiced some lemon grass and soaked your filters in the concentrate it would work...Lemon grass has a high level of citronella which is a natural mosquito repellent...

I would be a green alternative it that mattered to you, plus it might even be a good cover sent...

Somewhere i read that this is a form of permithin. Maybe thats what i read. Anyhow. Permithin is working. A little more smoke and smell.

Ya'll really need to check out the new "Off" clip on thing. (link below) It's worked well for me when camping and I'm taking it into the woods. MUCH cheaper refills and each one lasts something like 18 hours. It uses batteries instead of gas too. Much cheaper to run. Ya'll will thank me later.

Not to take away from your post but these did not work for me and my buddies at all on the river catfiahing even sitting closer together still were ate alive . Therms cell at least if we're fairly close to the unit we're free of blood sucking vampire Mosquitos . Then again one the river there is way more skeeters than 90% of tree stands

i hunt close to the mississippi river here in arkansas the coleman mosquito coils which have 0.25 % allthrin has no effect on the monsters in these river bottoms sometimes they are so many they sound like humming birds flying around the.thermacell works good on them, the mats have 21% allthrin
