I picked up this $6 UV flashlight to track deer I thumped and had to track. However, I found that I use it more to find lost arrows that end up in my field and blackberries. That (help me decide slogan) was part of what I shared when I attached it from amazon. It's not what I wrote. I appreciate the fact that it won't work for you and more so that you let me know that.

 

No worries. Cut/copy and paste sometimes has its drawbacks, as seen here. I suppose if I camped in a desert environment I'd do a grid pattern around the tent for 30 yards to investigate the Scorpion population and either choose a new site or move the creatures. Or just pitch and go hunting. 😉 BTJ

 

BTW, my Flo yellow AAE Max vanes shine like the dickens under white light. I know for a fact I'm missing some out back. Can't find them w/o a metal detector and they bury in the duff. BTJ

Harbor Freight sells them as well. At least an American company gets a bit out of it. $8.00
UV Blacklight LED Flashlight

 

Any fluorescent color will really light up with UV/blacklight.... blood will not. For blood to fluoresce you have to add a second compound (luminol). Other bodily fluids besides blood will light up well... just shine one around your next hotel room

I bought another one like that but with more LED's. I use it for checking my hunting duds out. Supprised at how some glow and some don't.
