Week of Nov 7th or week of Nov 14th????

Which one and why??????????? Hunting in new england for deer...

Pa season ends on the 13th I often thought I bet that would be the week. IMO the first week of Nov seems to get good pre rut activity and 2nd week seems to be good but still hit and miss so I always thought I would love to hunt 3rd week.

Are there any other seasons going on during either week that might interfere with archery hunting?

My archery vacation generally takes place during the second full week of November. I can take a week off and hunt 9 full days without competition from rifle hunters. During the third full week of November, I'd lose at least two days to rifle season.

Rut might be at the peak during the third week of November but the deer get spooked something fierce when the rifle deer season opens.

Rifle opens in NY on that following Sat.... Ma. gun season 2 weeks later...

I'd take vacation the first week. If you need more time, well, off sick the second.

7th. lucky for me I got the 5th thru 23rd.
