So I will be using an arizona easy fletch device. Some questions I have on the vanes on my arrows. Since I am nock tuning these arrows, shouldn't the cock vane be set so that it is pointing up when the arrow is nocked? If so, how do I turn the fixture in the Arizona EZ Fletch so I can make the cock vane in this position relative to my nock tuned nocks?

Or I guess does it matter where the cock vane ends up?

I have the Arizona mini max and indexing tab the nock goes on will rotate so you can align the cock vane to the nock how you want it.

when you set the nock end of arrow into the receiver of the jig, you can index the shaft any which way you want to align wherever you want the cock vane to align with your nock

Some people glue their nocks in to the point you can't turn them? You can index as described, but I always want to have the ability to turn my nocks a little anytime I want. I land the cock fletch where I want it on the shaft and then turn the nocks to align precisely where I want after I am done. I can usually turn the arrow within the nock without clicking the index. I want my nocks pretty firm in the arrow but not really tight or fixed.
