Lets see some pics of the bows (specifically tributes...b/c thats what im getting) with the new vapor trail limbdriver on it. It looks neat but how exactly how does it work?? Are they worth it? I love the trophy taker, but I may have to try one of these!!!

Love it

This pic is my whole bow but you can see the LD on there.

The VT site has great info and a little video... but the general premis is that it avoids contact with the cables so you dont affect timing of the cams. The limb holds the rope tight when the limb is unloaded. when you draw the limb flexes and this loosens the rope allowing the rest to rise into the shooting position. as you shoot, the limbs open retensioning the rope and "dropping" the launcher out of the way.

I love mine. it tuned and installed SOOO easy and is just awesome to shoot with. I did cover the launcher with moleskin and it is QUIET.

Great rest so far for me.

The string holds the rest down. When you draw the bow ,the rest goes up.
The arrow rides on the rest for about 20 inches then drops to miss your fletching.

If the string breaks the bow will still shoot.

Ditto. The rest goes up as the bow limbs are flexed downward on the draw. Takes about 15 minutes to put on. Also, your point about the string breaking is KEY. With others on the market, your dead until you get the string fixed.

Either way, you'd love the rest. IMO, it reacts faster than other dropaways that tie into the cable(s). Of course, i guess only video footage of two for comparison is all that could prove it though. So, it still remains my opinion.

Let me know if you want one. I've got a bunch of them in stock for Bowtechs.
