Is the new 2012 Limbdriver Pro-V arrow rest quieter than the conventional prong style limdriver rests?
Im thinking of trying one on my hunting bow and have been using limbdriver rests for years.
If the new 2012 model is quieter than the past models then I will give one a try.

I think it's supposed to be. They added a rubber stopper for this year which should quiet it down.

I have one on my Answer and it is sooo much quieter than the prong style.

Replaced a QAD with a Pro V and it is much quieter. Best rest out there in my opinion.

It's designed to be quiter than the previous PRO V with some rubber added in some areas.

I like the deign better than the QAD. The rest requires nothing meachanical to make it drop. When the cord is yanked tight the rest is "driven" down.

Can't comment on the TT SmackD.

Shoot the TT or pro v and the QAD will be packin. I had a 2011 pro v and the smackdown. I liked the smackdown better but am betting with the additions to the pro it would win.

All I have is the originals, but they seem quiet to me. I know with the new Pro V they added a rubber stopper so I think it will be even quieter. I'm ordering mine today to go onto the Athens Recluse I have on order.

Why do you like the Smackdown over the QAD?

I didn't care for the tuning fork cage and Just thought my TT was quieter the the 2011 model.

Plus the TT goes to the bottom limb, and the split limb connecter is way better then the limbdriver
