Grrrrrrrr!!! I've been waiting patiently for someone to return my call from the shop that has these bows so I can actually shoot one... Well that didn't happen so I called and the A** HAT that runs the place now actually said to me if you want to shoot it you have to buy it....
I may have slightly told him how ignorant that was and a few other opinions I had of there business plan.
Very annoying, anyone else ran across these bows and actually shot one?

Too bad they didn't figure out how to make the crossbow shorter than 37 inches in length:-( I couldn't see myself hunting with the PSE Tac....for the same reason.

it is confirmed that they are made over the pond, I'm seriously thinking about guinea pigin one of these just to find out..... it definitely has a level of quality to it for sure. I honestly love everything about the bows. Just wish that turd would let me pull the trigger on one, just one shot.

I just talked to the owner of the company. Come to find out his operation is only 50 miles from my store. Supper nice guy he use to work for Bear Archery and saw crossbows were hot and went off on his own. The bows are from over the pond but it sounds like he really knows about quality and cares. Im going to shoot these in 2 weeks at his place and talk more. That bow sells for 499$ Shoots 20 inch Half moons. Comes as a complete package. This bow was speed rated with a 497 grn arrow. He said they shoot between 348-355. He also said his trigger is 4lbs.
My NEW Scorpyd 165 Velocity still has it beat. Shoots a 530g bolt @ 380 fps! I just got it three days ago. LOVE IT! Shoots a 420g @ 418 fps!

The ad I saw listed the tactical version as a whopping 37" in length. Nice looking bow but, like Joe Tex said in his song in the 70's ..."ain't gonna bump no mo wid no big fat women"

LENGTH is becoming more of an issue then speed now a days.

after using a folding stock fro a while now everything seems to long.

35" is about the limit fro me......+ the bigger ones gut is the harder a long bow is to cock

:).....yep, ole Tex told that big fat women to go find a big fat man. What a song:)

As to being produced across the pond, The Carbon Express line of crossbows are built as well as any crossbow I've seen and their new Intercept is no exception. I can understand some folks making a big deal out of crossbows not made in this country but if they applied that same mentality to everything else they purchased for their home.........the house would be virtually empty:laugh:

If everybody would buy AMERICAN made, there would be jobs for everybody. Do you know where Obamas GM bailout money went? 70% of the vehicles that GM makes are made in CHINA! That guy they call the president gave MOST of OUR tax dollars to CHINA and put their people to work! FOX news told all about it. I always look for American made, when I buy. Better quality, in most cases. Higher price, but you get what you pay for. IMO

a archery shop about 50 miles from my house sells one velocity crossbow and i think its the Armageddon, if im not mistaken? Looked cool, and good quality, but never asked about it or held nor shot it...

Velocity crossbows

Has anyone shot one of these bows? I saw a couple today ans was extremely impressed! One looked like a Barret .50. Cal receiver and stock.... Very cool bow 350fps and a 4# trigger. Gonna try to shoot one tomorrow!!! The front end cables and string reminded me of a ten point.
I personally bought the Velocity Lionheart model and I can't say one bad thing about this product, It's 175lb with a 11.5 inch draw and shoots around 310-320 fps it weights out at 7.85lbs and I have owned Tenpoint, Barnett, and Horton crossbows. The trigger assembly is very comparable to my Tenpoint and it buries my 20" arrows fletched with Flex Fletching 3" glow in the dark vanes all the way to the top of the fletching at 30 yds. It shoots straight and I looked up the company and the web site says there out of Indiana. I just seen the same model at bow viper.com for $216. plus shipping so around $240.00. You won't go wrong with this crossbow. I just looked them up and they have a couple different models and if there anything like this model... I know I will be buying from them again!
