I have used the rip tko and was really happy with them. I can not believe how tuff they are!

 

I love my RIP TKO's but hate the half outs. It depends what you want out of the arrow, and what you want to run on the front. I have no interest in micro diameter, so I'd say look at the RIP and VF

 

RIP TKOS or VAP SS.

Another vote for RIP TKOs. As others have said, don’t use the stock inserts. I’m using the Gold Tip Trad600 72gr but there are a lot of good ones out there

 

I’ve shot alot of the line up. If I had to choose 1 forever all purpose arrow it would be vforce tko elite.
I personally use Rip with standard hits and ethics stainless footers for hunting and vforce for target but if I had to pick 1 it would be a standard diameter vforce tko or regular vforce.

 

My personal favorites are VAP TKO's. I've built several dozens of them. They're tough, easy to tune perfectly and blow right through deer and elk. I tip mine with Magnus Stinger 125 Buzzcut 4-blades.

When I bought a new bow in 2015, the dealer included 6 VAP's, with the deal. I honestly thought I'd just sell those skinny things... Then one day, I decided to just try shooting them. Those were the first micros I'd ever tried. They shot so well, I switched to them over 5mm FMJ's and standard diameter carbons. I still shoot VAP's in my backup bow, tipped with 150 grain Stinger Buzzcut 4-blades. They are also excellent, proven deer and elk killers.

I like the woven surface coatings on the TKO's a little better than the standard VAP surface. But they're both great arrows. I have both the Elites and Gamers of each model. They shoot the same out to 80 yards. The only reason I've bought Elites was I found deals on them for cheaper than Gamers, before manufacturing slow-downs and inflation hit.

 

RIP TKO and RIP, both with the 60 grain stainless steel shok insert. I've found the gamers to be just as straight for 9 out of 10 arrows as the elite.

 

VForce have worked great for me.

 

VForce/VF TKO for me. My buddy shoots and likes the RIP/RIP TKOs as well.

 

I vote for RIP TKO for .204 and VAP TKO if you go the .166 route.

Vap TKO. Everyone has said for the 3 years I’ve been shooting them that the outserts are useless…. I haven’t seen a single failure. Spin perfect. Tune easily. Fly great. I try multiple arrows every year…. These are one top

 

In the beginning they would bend in a target or shooting a animal.
I have a dozen with the newer ones out and have had not one problem yet .

 

VAP Elites for 10+ years. Perform great and no plans on changing.

Lots of good options to be had. Preferences may be influenced on hunting environment, examples may be intended range limitations & wind concerns. What spices are you intending to hunt, Whitetail, hogs, moose or elk for example?

 

V force gamers and v force tko. Tough as nails and lots of options since they are .245 ID.

I use Vforce with ethics inserts, and have used Vaps with ethics inserts. Both have done well for me but I just switched back to Vforce for whitetail and saving the Vaps for a western hunt one day.

 

Any of them will do the job. I personally like the TKO line.

My personal favorite is the VF TKO because they are standard diameter, easy to tune, use an actual insert, and are super tough. No halfouts/outserts/etc to worry about.

If you want micro shafts I really liked the VAP SS. One of the toughest carbon shafts you will find, not overly heavy like the RIP SS. I just don't care for the micro components.

The VAP ss elites are some of the best arrows I have ever laid my hands on but I absolutely despise micro diameter becasue the components are ALWAYS the weak spot of the arrow. I shoot standard diameter and will not ever go back. VF TKO elites is where it's at.....get some tophat stainless inserts and never look back.
