Vxr28 advice

Recently purchased the bow I’ve been wanting for the past past couple years
Wood Working animal Trunk Soil Art

the vxr 28. Needing some tip on the hand vibration on the shot. I have 10”&8” wickstick stabs. It has very noticeable hand vibration and like to do away with it or quite it down. Anyone notice it with their vxr and what did you do to eliminate or quite hand vibration. Thanks

Nice bow
I have the v3. Same issues haha

obviously your timing is set and now is tuned? ATA is in spec?
What strings are on the bow?
The strings and cables are due for new ones which are in the process of getting done. I have vapor trail new set that I’m iffy on putting on my bow I haven’t heard on how good of strings they make. Timing on cams are good but will need tuned and will be after new cables and strings are installed.
I’m shooting a 340 spine 70lb. Will be bumping it down to 65 mods when the strings and cables are in.
Does it have a tuning fork type of vibration?

Ive never shot those stabilizers but take all of the weights off of the bars and see if the vibration is still the same.

I would say yes. It’s all in the grip area of the riser. When I put my fingertips on the riser it’s very noticeable. I was wondering if limb dampeners would take some of the vibration out.
Id pull accessories off the bow and shoot it bare bow, after the new strings are installed and set to spec/tuned.
My 31.5 has very little vibration and is super quiet. 65lb/29"/448 gr arrow.

Mr vxr28 that I sold a while back had zero vibration and was dead silent. I would check your rest or sight for loose bolts etc.. that thing was dead in the hand zero vibration but noticed that I had a slight vibration with a QAD rest I put on it. After I swapped it out for an HHA virtus that vibration went away.
Looks like your string stop needs to be closer to the string. I have 2 VXR 28s, worked on many others and if they are set up properly there’s virtually no hand shock. I have the string stop set to barely touching the string at rest, maybe a very slight gap. I can see straight through yours pretty easily. It’s a quick adjustment in any event, might want to give it a shot.

Have your nearest bow shop pull your cams, and check the bearings. One of the biggest contributors to vibration/hand shock. Easy fix if that is indeed the problem.

Don't need to pull them. Pressing on the yoke tracks will usually show the bearing wear.

Agreed. Just wanst sure if he had any experience.
Check the screws in your cam mods. If they are installed without loctite I have seen them come loose.

Vapor Trail strings are great and stable.

If you have vibration on a VXR 28.....it's NOT the bow!! I have owned 5-6 of them and if you have vibration it's accessories. Pull that 19" Sword off and both of those wicked sticks off and tell me it's still there...

VXR 28 is the deadest bow(s) I have ever owned....Omnia is a VERY VERY close second. Shoot it as a bar bow then comment back.
I don’t think I can get away from my dovetail sights. It’s what I prefer and no issues with it on my HTR.
My vxr 28 is completely dead in the hand. Very quiet shooting a 300 spine at 75lbs. Total arrow weight is 483
