I'll be finishing my basement over the winter and am trying to decide how to finish the walls. I'd like to make sure whatever I end up going with doesn't take away from my shoulder mount and a couple of european mounts I plan to hang in there. Any thoughts on wood paneling/tongue and groove vs painted drywall (or other wall finishes?). Paint colors or stain suggestions also would be appreciated. Do folks prefer a lighter or darker background? And please don't hesitate to brag or share pictures of your own setups. Just looking for some inspiration and advice.
