I want to plan a spring black bear hunt for 2013, I don't have a clue where to start. Who can point me towards the right outfitter?

Homestead Outfitters, Bob & Jocelyn Heyde 780-751-2252. Awesome hunting, plenty of bears, great food. They work extremely hard to get you what you came for. Alberta, it has a 2 bear limit, a nice plus. Tell them Greg & Kay said hello. We have plenty of pics if you are interested.

Bear Track Outfitters...Quebec Canada...my buddy and his dad went there 2 summers ago and shot 2 nice bears..check it out.

Where are you coming from? I actually hooked up with someone from AT , and are heading to Big Paw Outfitters in New Brunswick this spring for my first bear hunt. Check out New Brunswick, lots of bears and affordable trip
