I just had to write this because I have read on here of quite a few people who have had their gall bladders removed. I being one of them. I am sure that everyone who has had this procedure done, remembers the relief that came after their gall bladder was out. Well if you start having the same pains down the road, get into the doctor immediately. Apparently, the sistic duct can stilll produce stones. I know as I just went in to have more stones removed and the pain caused by them is just as bad as before you had your gall bladder out. Good thing is they can remove what is there when they scope your stomach during an EGD. Hope this doesn't happen to any of you, but if it does don't hesitate to go in and be checked.

Yea I had what I referred to as phantom gallbladder pain for about 2 years after I had mine removed. That was about 10-12 years ago. Sure beats the pain though:wink::wink:
